COVID-19 Outbreak

IAESTE France is closely monitoring the development of the situation concerning the COVID-19 outbreak. As you know, protective measures have been put in place at the national level, including the closure of universities and general containment, but also at the international level in many countries. Faced with this exceptional situation, our team will make every effort to support students and comply with the decisions of the various hierarchies concerning international mobility. This page will be updated according to the evolution of the epidemic.

Students who want to go abroad

If you wish to go abroad and your school has not suspended international exchanges, you can still use IAESTE France. Nevertheless it is important to note that internship departures can be interrupted depending on the decisions of your home university, your destination or the French government.

If you have started a procedure with us and it is no longer possible for you to go abroad, please contact the Outgoing department as soon as possible. They will assist you through the procedure.

Students currently on an internship abroad

If you are currently abroad, you can contact your local IAESTE, the French embassy or your university to find out about current instructions and repatriation procedures.

If you ever have more specific questions about the outbreak that may impact your IAESTE experience, you can contact us.

At this particular time, let us not forget IAESTE’s values of sharing, solidarity and respect for others in order to overcome our common difficulties. Take care of yourself and your loved ones.
